Gangshow
Held annually at the White Rock Theatre in November. Our 'Gang Show' cast is made up from Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Fellowship and Leaders who are all members in our District, helped by Guides and Ranger Guides and Guide Leaders. The supporting staff who produce the show, work back-stage or man the front-of-house are all members, parents or supporters also of our District.
The show has run annually for forty years with great success, bringing together members, both young and old, from all over the District to try their hand at 'treading the boards' ! The confidence that is generated by all our young people during the course of the show, has to be seen to be believed! The shows started as the 'Hastings Scout Show' and was directed and produced for very many years by Eric Stokes, and then by Del Smith who until 2005 has taken part in every one! Del has now retired from producing the Gang Show and the role has been filled by Fiona Adams
